What is Certificate of Conformity?

Certificate of Conformity (CoC) is a certificate which conforms that the product complies with the relevant regulations & standards of the Country of Destination. It is usually issued by a Third-Party Inspection and/or Certification Body assigned by & on behest of the responsible Government Authority of the Country of Destination.

Why you need it?

Certificate of Conformity (CoC) is mandatory for clearance of product shipment for the regulated products at the port of entry. Unavailability of or Inaccurate Certificate of Conformity (CoC) will either lead to rejection of the shipment or extra cost & delay in clearance.

What is Certificate of Conformity Process?

Certificate of Conformity (CoC) is either issued per shipment of the regulated product or to the company producing the regulated product.Certificate of Conformity (CoC) process may or may not involve pre-shipment inspection depending upon the Country of Destination regulation.
